The heart of the DTAC system is found in its Density Altitude (DA) based ballistic comeups. All atmospheric variables are encapsulated in this single number that makes it easier to understand how the atmospheric changes affect your trajectory. No math is required of the user. All math is provided for by utilizing the provided graphs to solve the necessary equations. If you can read a ruler, you can learn this system! DTAC Ballistic Card System features: The only system other than the DTAC scope that allows you to quickly do an error analysis before you shoot. The only Ballistic card system that provides data for any reasonable atmospheric condition. The only Ballistic card system that allows for velocity variations due to powder temperature and minor bore wear or lot to lot variations.
