These rifles are notorious for shifting trigger characteristics and one of the main culprits is inferior springs. These CS springs easily endure over 500,000 cycles of use with no changes. Hammer Spring Like other CS Springs, our AR15 Hammer Spring is actually a "light weight" component that retains "heavy weight" punch. Lighter compression and stronger rebound means trigger pull weight may be reduced while hammer striking force increases, and lock time decreases! This seemingly contradictory property is due to the superior performance characteristics of Chrome Silicon versus music wire. Trigger Return Spring As is, our Trigger Return Spring is lighter in compression than a standard spring (10-percent lighter), which means that trigger pull should improve instantly.
