"After years of going back and forth with sight extension tubes, I finally decided to design my own to overcome the problems. This tube becomes an integral part of the barrel, in function and concept, and has zero ill effect on accuracy. It will take ten years off your eyes!"

Take 10 years off your eyes!

The perfect solution to a big problem. Increasing the "sight radius" of a target rifle allows the shooter to more easily, accurately, and comfortably see the front sight. And seeing the front sight is the key to shooting good groups. Putting the front sight farther forward is the most simple and effective means to improve the shooter's ability to attain, and retain, an X-ring sight picture. Unlike lenses and other compensations, a sight extension tube is a "natural" enhancement that exhibits far fewer drawbacks.

That's all the good. The bad is that aluminum extension tubes produced by others have too many parts &emdash; barrel clamp, tube clamp, tube. Even if perfectly machined, these multiple-link attaching arrangements make it all but impossible to mount, or re-mount, a conventional tube with concentric orientation to the bore. There's also the stress on the barrel from clamping.

The SightLine tube is one piece. It is also stainless steel so its behavior is more similar to those of the barrel itself. It is glued in position so there's no additional stress to the barrel. The result is no accuracy penalty and perfect mounting consistency and alignment. The tube may be easily (with heat) removed for installation on another barrel.

The SightLine tube is 6.25 inches long (adds approximately 5 inches sight-to-sight distance) and fits the standard 0.750 diameter turned section on most target rifles. It works best when there is at least one inch of mounting surface on the rifle barrel. The SightLine itself is turned to 0.749 at its front to accept common size barrel band sight mounts. Mounting the sight on this stress-free tube also relieves muzzle constriction, which may enhance accuracy. The tube may be shortened one inch if desired. The exterior is a bead blasted matte finish and the entire piece is held to exacting dimensions. Comes with detailed instructions.
