Tubb Precision HeartBraker Sling – Right Hand (High Power Model)

No pulse design. "The sling is one of those fundamental components of a shooter's gear that hasn't gotten as much attention as it deserves. Everybody has one, but not everyone has the right one. I set out to design the right one, and I think I did."

The Tubb Precision HeartBraker Sling (High Power Model) features different widths of leather depending on arm or forend/hand use. The leather and all accessories are finished very nicely. The heart of the HeartBraker features a hinged stainless joint (unlike any sling on the market). This joint, coupled with an offset single point buckle, prevents the heartbeat which emanates from the arm from reaching the forearm and transferring to one's sight picture. This sling typically eliminates at least 50% of one's movement as seen through a rifle scope. It is most helpful in eliminating a large portion of the vertical displacement of the front sight when shooting from the sitting position.

Additionally, the sling's length-adjusting buckle placement allows the shooter to position the spotting scope closer to his face when shooting prone. The buckle placement change is enough to require a right or left-hand designation when ordering the HeartBraker (High Power Model).

The Tubb Precision HeartBraker Sling is also available in ISU (ISSF) width, which requires no right or left-hand designation since the ISU sling is the same width throughout.

This was the first sling I ever owned. It always worked very well and felt very comfortable on the arm, but since I am always looking for a "better mousetrap" I spent loads of money on different slings, from US made to foreign designs. My conclusion: All waisted money - the heartbrake sling is the only sling you will ever need.
