Other AR-style grip options never fit me, or anyone else, without major reworking and a tube or two of epoxy putty. I finally settled on a design that will satisfy the majority of shooters as is, and also one that can be easily custom shaped for a perfect hand fit." Take control of your rifle! Get a grip on your gun! These laminated wood or composite material grips are contoured and sized to put the shooter in complete control of his TUBB 2000 or AR15-style firearm. Other available grips tend to be too small and angled and profiled incorrectly for best holding power and control. Tubb Competition Grips are correctly sized and contoured to provide optimum hand and arm positioning, and trigger control, from any shooting position, or any shooter's holding preference. They have a progressive contour that feels equally good with "high" or "low" hand positioning. If you extend your arm and allow the hand and wrist to sit naturally, you'll see that the hand is not positioned vertically. It will be turned somewhat palm down. When the hand is allowed to attain this position on the rifle it is in a much more natural position for improved bolt manipulation and trigger control. Each Tubb Competition Grip accounts for this natural hand positioning by providing more material in the critically important areas. Since it's slightly oversized, this grip can be easily reshaped to fit any shooter's hand or preferences. There is plenty of material on the grip itself to eliminate the need for the epoxy putty many resort to in efforts to improve fit. Both the wood laminate and composite materials make reshaping simple. Plus, the super-strong composition means there are no worries about compromising component strength, and finish is not necessary. The ergonomic thumb shelf is designed to assist in attaining a better, more powerful hand hold but does not force a set position as other pistol grips do. Its progressive contour, and allowing ease of modification, ensures suitability under any circumstance. Allowing the thumb to extend against this area of the pistol grip greatly improves trigger control since it allows the trigger finger to work more independently and, therefore, more precisely. Both grips are a direct replacement. Includes screw and bushing. We are sold out of laminated AR15 grips for right-handed shooters. A few left-handed grips are still available. There are no plans to offer the laminate grip for the AR15 in the future. Laminate is available in complimentary color schemes to fit the TUBB 2000. T2K laminate grips will not fit AR15. Phone 806-323-9488, FAX 806-323-9483, or order ON LINE 0 ORDER Installation Instructions The Tubb Tactical-Target Grip is precision-made, so nothing other than dropping on the unit and tightening the screw is required on most AR15 derivatives. We have found that the easiest way to install this grip is to invert the rifle and gently push or tap the grip onto the lower receiver, taking care to make sure the safety spring fits into the new grip (small hole). Then insert and tighten the 1/4-inch allen head bolt (supplied with grip) to secure the grip to the lower receiver.
