The Tubb 6XC Seating Die begins with the excellent Redding Competition Seating Die. David Tubb and Superior Shooting Systems then take this die and improve it with the following modification: A .30 Caliber Bullet Seating Stem is used instead of a 6mm stem. The .30 Cal Seating Stem contacts the bullet further down towards the ogive, where the bullet is wider and is more uniform than at the tip. This results in a more uniform and concentric loaded round with much lower runout.
